Due to the prohibitive price of pure melissa we offer a high quality blend of pure lemon and melissa essential oils created by redistilling lemon essential oil over fresh melissa herbs. The blend is a pale yellow essential oil with a fresh, herbaceous, lemony aroma.
This blended oil has some of the properties of Melissa but in a very dilute form. Its uses are more in line with those of Lemon oil. As a potent cleanser it has an overall astringent effect and tends to 'pull thing together'. It is useful for oily skins.
Methods of use: Bath, massage, vaporisation and disinfectant
Cautions: Do not expose skin to ultra-violet light or sunlight for 12 hours after application - Keep dilutions at 1% or less as the oil may irritate sensitive skins.
